The Million Dollar Question and Answer ( NFL Sunday Football Comic Diary) Week 9

The Bookshop Guru

The Arizona Cardinals face Dallas Cowboys in Sunday’s live match. I fancy the Cowboys to win the game. The consensus are with the Cardinals, but I am not, they see the possibly absence of Romo as the best chance of beating the Cowboys at home. Who invented the spread, the bookies, and the way they see it, as a + or - 2.5 game? So, that probably means a tight game, so make your choice.  I also fancy going over on the total point line, because most of the recent matchups between these sides have been over. Home team is 8-1 ATS in their last 9 meetings. Whatever happens, I will enjoy the game!

From the Coma the Wait is Over

The Bookshop Guru

The Seventh Seal is Open

The tree of life is a circle so said the prophets of Isaiah and all those who followed the way of Tao because all life has an end called the circle of life. From whence you came so shall ye return said God. So break or crack the code that has been hidden in the true Bible "the first book" or what us programmers call “the code or the book" and regarded as the supreme code book ever written. This is true because I have already revealed one secret to you, it's now your turn. Every word and every sentence has more than one meaning the true meaning has been hidden from you until now.

Jesus spoke with a message using parables. The butterfly and bee exist little without each other in the land of milk and honey. Your conscience is considered by many philosophers to be God’s gift. You see we all know in our conscience what is good and bad. There are no excuses.

The Seed of Your Potential is Unlimited

The Bookshop Guru

I enjoyed reading "How to Pass a Degree with Confidence" by Anthony Fox. Both insightful and funny at times, it's more than a useful guide for individuals embarking upon a college degree. It can apply to anyone seeking new challenges in life. "Set goals. Have a vision, and plan exactly the steps you'll need to achieve it." Mr. Fox began attending university in his forties. His "life" experience gives a unique perspective to the grind and toil of attaining a degree.

The author's personal background is inspiring! Diagnosed with bipolar disease, he earned a Master's degree in Software Engineering. The mantras of "believe in yourself," and "don't be afraid of failure" echo throughout the guide. Cool!

The Million Dollar Question and Answer (NFL Sunday Football Comic Diary)

The Bookshop Guru

I woke this morning, thinking, and the one football game I should watch on TV. The Raiders against the Dolphins is the matchup for today’s TV live NFL football game. A lot of people have been predicting on the outcome of this football match. Now, what is my formula for predicting the outcome, I ask? I do not have one, is the answer. The most pleasure comes from watching the game. I do not care who wins, as long as it’s an exciting game with plenty of fumbles, interceptions, touchdowns and all the rest of the action.

Now, it’s back to work, well I call it work. I am bit like Vincent Van Gogh as mad as a hatter and as poor as a trader can get. Currently, I am working on my third book, it’s a novel, I write in the mornings and after that I usually spend the next few hours trading currencies. Normally, I stick with the, euro/dollar or others.

My other great passion is usually lying horizontal on the couch watching sports. By the way you could read my first book. For anyone contemplating a college or university degree should read “How to Pass a Degree with Confidence” it’s a book of all the do’s and don'ts of passing a degree. I could imagine you saving yourself possibly all the heartaches and many thousands of dollars by avoiding the common pitfalls. The book also contains a series of stories from my personal experience to help you understand and remember what to avoid. The great asset is the book is only 103 pages long, I purposely made the book short because I know it’s difficult at the best of times to get some people to read. Now, where is that TV controller?

Bipolar and Me: The Bedroom Tale

The Bookshop Guru

This is a short version of a story from my latest book “It’s Never Too Late” hope you like it.

They say that there are two schools of thought; that bipolar is a product of your environment, and or a defective gene, a chemical imbalance. As my dad and my grandfather suffered with manic depression, and it’s also more than likely I have inherited the condition, which as you read my story you will see what hell this has caused me.

Let me begin by telling you a tale to this day I still don’t know if it was real or just a dream. Some things don’t seem real; remember 9/11 and the twin towers crashing down to dust, it was real enough, a terrible tragedy, yet every time you see the film coverage you can’t believe your eyes.

According to my shrink I suffer from hallucinations which appear real as any event. In a dream you wake up, realise it was just a dream. Hallucinations are weird; it’s as real as it gets, bread and butter reality. It appears I have had many; some you can explain some you cannot, yet both seem real. I will let you decide on this one.

Remember, one thing though I hadn't been smoking any wacky backy or drinking alcohol just my daily dose of prescribed medication.

It was classic moonlight night; I had gone to bed and forgotten I had not locked the front door to my apartment, which was typical. Often the front door was unlocked. Besides, I lived on the top floor of an apartment block and you needed a key to open the main entrance to the building.

Thinking: If someone’s going to get in they'll get in. Besides, the bed was too comfortable and I was too lazy to get out and lock the door. Lazy bastard, I hear you say, and you are right, give the guy or gal a medal. Normally, the neighbours are moderately quiet but suddenly all let loose, doors were banging and shutting, my apartment was shaking it felt like an earthquake. I couldn't hear anyone shouting; just the continuing loud banging sound of doors opening and closing, combined with the steps of someone moving beneath or across from my apartment.

Its human nature to listen into a conversation, to be inquisitive, but all I could hear was the loud banging, and the thud of foot steps.

Suddenly, my front door flung open. Boy, oh, boy, did it give me a shock as I heard the door crash against my bedroom wall. Quickly, I sat up ready to leap from my bed, when I saw a naked blond streak pass my bedroom door. Wow! She was mid-thirties I figured; curvaceous, with long blond hair flowing down to generous hips, and I wasn’t frightened, just perfectly aroused. I could see her walk straight into my lounge from my bed as she waved her arms and screamed.

Without hesitation I called out and said, “It's ok.......it’s alright,” but I should have said, “Stay awhile...........Stay awhile,” as she immediately turned around and walked straight past my bedroom out the front door.

The shrinks would say this was a hallucination, but to me it was as real as it gets, bread and butter reality.

Wishing only the blond stayed the night; I could have done with the indulgence of a woman.

Possibly, a neighbour sleep walking I mused, anyhow sometime later I asked the blond in the opposite apartment. Hey, she fitted the description, but she politely said no.

To this day I don’t know what happened but it was certainly real enough for me. Dream or hallucination you tell me?

Are you listening,  what are you dreaming?

As Jesus said, “belief is everything.”

The Bookshop Guru

After several weeks of utter scams and tits you soon realise this country has no longer any decency. The world of chat line terrestrial TV is available 24/7 just in time for breakfast. Imagine soon your family and kids will be able to see everything with their cornflakes. “Mom what does BJ mean?” Pass the milk son and eat your breakfast. Meanwhile on the other channel that your 4 year old keeps flicking the remote to - you can watch a women being “phucked” by a hairy arse ape-man. Depends I guess on your preference, of course. High fibre and low fat. But you have to ask the question – do we want to feed our children or “phuck” them?
