The Bookshop Guru
The statement “Always do the right
things because it takes less energy” is a powerful mantra that my grandfather
taught me. If you live by this you do not have to keep looking over your
shoulder and wondering who may be watching you. The more energy you consume
doing the wrong things the less energy you will have to do the right things.
It’s simple logic, but it works, and safe to say you will live life with nature
and not against it as is the “WAY” in “Tao Te` Ching” by Lao Tzu. If you want to know more
about the “WAY” then I have written an article here on
this blog click here.
My grandfather taught me a lot
especially how easy it is to miss the opportunities life presents to you.
Sometimes he would ask me to read a particular book and then ask me what the
book was about and what I had learned. And he often said read it again you have
missed the most important point of the book which I did. Like the adage “you
can’t see the wood for the trees” it is easy to overlook the most important
point.
Have you heard about the chicken and
the egg question? It’s an age-old question and most people have heard about it
and pondered the answer. It goes like this “Which came first the chicken or the
egg?” Now you may be thinking there is no answer – you cannot have one without
the other -and you are wrong. The answer is neither. I could give you an
analogy as an answer as Man came first it says it in Genesis in the Bible. The
truth is without seed there is nothing. The male of a species carries the seed
the female the eggs and without the seed there is nothing. You work it out. Someone or something has to play the part of the rooster.
Are you listening, what are you dreaming?
As Jesus said, “Belief is everything.”
In my book “It’s Never Too Late” read how dreams do come true, but be careful what you wish for. Understand the secret of greed and you will attain one of the secrets of prosperity. The book will also take you on a journey and explore love, money, luck, and much more.
